  4. Well done, what is OYO? Why not add a link to another post by you about old Delhi? Prices always interest people and issues like safety. Best times to visit, and weather. Different areas of India for different interests?

    1. Well you can’t say that.. The true delhiites are simply great and helpful. The people you are talking about are not from Delhi. Delhi has become a hub for people from other states. It’s overpopulated. So we really can’t judge amongst them.

    1. Red fort, Chandni Chowk, Paranthe Vali Gali, the biggest wedding card market as well as book market.. Also there’s situated the biggest mosque of India- Jama Masjid. The food of old delhi is very famous as well.

  6. Ahhh.. Perfect timing. I’d be there for a few days later this month & was looking up on some similar info. Thanks for sharing. Would be great if you could also share the names of some great spas over there. Of course I can find it online, but word of mouth is better ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. Hi,
I am sending you few good names-
      Kaya Kalp in ITC Maurya,
Amatrra in Le Meridien and The Ashok,
      Spa at The Shangrila,
      Jiva Spa in Taj Palace,
The Oberoi Spa is also good (but the hotel is closed this year for renovation)
Shanaya Spa in Kempinski (now The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel).

Apart from these, in the Hotel you’ll stay you can find Spa over there. Also here in Delhi, you will find ample Spa Centers but then your safety is a concern too. Feel free to ask more queries.

      1. You’re faster than Shatabdi hahah.. Thanks TM. I’d prefer standalone / independent spas to the in-house ones like Jiva etc… The in-house ones have their own chaos and attend to hotel guests first. ๐Ÿ™‚ If it’s not too much for you then do share some goodies on independent spas. Thanks in anticipation !

        1. Well i have been to those spa’s so I can tell about them. But I do not trust the spa centres who run around any market or mall. Jiva is a good choice. I love the fragrance of their products. Hope you have a happy time here in Delhi.

          1. Oh I see.. Thanks .. Back here in Pune it’s a bit more balanced between in-house hotel spas & independent ones. In fact the independent ones are more serious about customers than others. Well since mine would be a business trip, I’m unsure yet what place I’d get to stay. And if it’s got an in-house spa then it’s like tralalala! ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Why not……I have a phobia of Sketching beauty’s, and you are one…..but then I have to be careful, else my gf would kill me ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

          1. Hahaha…..was just kidding….I don’t have anyone’s fear, coz I’m alone…..but then Good to see you saying this, this fear shows your bond, and then where there is no fear, there is no love, fear is just not about weak or strong, but about loosing someone special with your wrong ways….. And once this fear is over, then that relationship is also over…….anyways happy to see that fear in you……๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š keep going……

      1. I was curious if your pose if either the juice is sour or you’ve attitude to spare was purposefully posed or a trick of camera timing.
as to long life… are you calling me OLD? i mean Cough Cough – Dust…Dust! I might not feel as young as i once did… but I highly doubt i need to put on a dinosaur t-shirt just yet.

          1. odd that i’m legally blind and you’d say that. which is to say a inexpensive 2 megapixle camera literally takes a better picture than my eyes can derive.. I see more accurate colors than many of those cameras but that’s a different thing. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  7. Wow!!! Awesome guide…..
Who wouldn’t want to travel if they everytime got guide like this….
Btw have you been to paranthe wali gali…. There’s a shop called maithil sweets corner, you’ll get exquisite desi snacks there. Besides it’s owned by my uncle…..

    1. I have been to paranthe vali gali many times.. I had sweets there too but never noticed the name of any other shop. I’ll save it with me. Next time when I’ll go there I’ll ask him about you.. Ishaan.. right?
