“Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life – Berthold Auerbach.”

Nobody needs to say anything when it comes to finding solace via music. Music and Solace are like body and its soul. Music has neither language nor any boundary.

It soothes our soul, nurtures our thoughts and emotions and fades away problems of this universe. It creates such a camouflage of mirth in our mind that we tend to forget all our haunting memories.

Music rover all over the universe and creates magic on every person irrespective of their age, language, country. It is reflective, adorable, amusing, obsessive, soothing and erotic. Sometimes, a listener doesn’t need to know all the notes of lyrics. A melody like a magic melt our heart and set us free from all negativity.

It plays an important role knowingly or unknowingly in our life. When we hear any kind of music we feel relaxed, refresh and that is when we get to our crest of solace.

A person said to me, “Though, I am one of those people who acquire no knowledge of notes but still I never forget to keep my I-pod and Mp3 player updated because it gives me greatest happiness.”

Solace comes with music and music itself is the solace.

  1. Music has always been a great solace for me. It’s still something that gives me far more joy than anything else. Music can transport you. There are so many different kinds of experiences you can have with music.

  2. I love to search the web to find new music 🙂 music is eveything, I play it when I go to work when I’m going home, the radio is always on at work, at home we use YouTube and iTunes and, there is always music playing 🙂

  3. I remember coming to the classical stuff late in life…I was a college freshman when I first heard Beethoven’s Violin Concerto. I couldn’t believe how achingly beautiful–that sound, that pure sound. I had on earphones. It was an assignment. I actually felt stupid at first.

And then, and then, I think then I came to life.

  4. Music also has the power to take you back in time; to a place, a moment, a person, a feeling. The nostalgia that comes from music can make you happy, connect you with others, and remind you who you are and where you came from–all of which will surely soothe your soul! Great post!

  5. Music, not only soothes, but it can also educate some in the ways of society. Just listening to lyrics to some songs reminds me how raw this world can be and it compels me to action. Music is truly a reflection of one’s soul and it saddens me how in the Public Schools, they don’t teach music as much as they used to.
