Ramadan is a holy month of fasting, introspection, and prayer for Muslims, the followers of Islam. At the end of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate the Eid-al-Fitr or known as Meethi Eid in India. Eid is all about delicious food, stunning traditional outfits, and heavy accessories. For Eid, getting the latest outfit can be a tricky challenge for many women. You might be confused about whether to wear something traditional or casual, maybe the dress you like is already hanging in every shop and finally, you still have the struggle of actually looking different from others.
From a full-fledged family get together to an Eid special party at your friend’s place or office, there are endless reasons why you should be decked up in the latest outfits and jewelry for Eid. Since summer is going on, wearing heavy or sparkly outfits can be gruesome. Personally, I avoid every fabric that is not cotton or light. I chose to keep my Eid look simple and stylish at the same time, so I tried a chikan kurta. I bought this yellow and golden chikan kurta from Lucknow’s chowk, which is quite famous for chikan work. The fabric is really light and perfect if you’re more into simple and clean looks. Do I look Eid ready? Comment below and let me know if you like the look or not.
