In my blog, you will find different pieces of writing from movie reviews, poems, quotes, stories, Bollywood related news and style, travel reviews to Fashion tips. MissTalkaholic blog is a mixture of all kind of thoughts, feelings where you can relate yourself too.

  1. I just wanted to take an opportunity to let you know about my new site. Because you are a follower on my old site, I made a special effort to notify you so that you don’t miss out on the new content. There are a lot of special things coming but specifically, I will be opening a shop on my site where I will be offering prints of my work.

This is an exciting time for me as it marks the beginning of a new experience. I want you to be a part of this experience with me. I would like you to know that I am slowly moving over posts from my previous site, and so you might see some of the same things. These things that I hold dear are as follows:

Showcase Sunday. First and foremost, I would like to continue on with my Showcase Sunday posts as I have already been blessed by the people I have met along the way, and I would like to continue that blessing for others. I have already moved over all the previous showcase Sunday posts and will from now on be posting all new content on the new site.
Mandalas – These have been my passion since day one and it would be a shame if I were to forget all the beautiful mandala I have made previously. So I will be integrating these in with my new site as well.
Zentangle – This is the basis for a lot of my ideas and it would be a shame not to continue teaching and using the many many patterns out there. Therefore, I will keep showing my renditions of these patterns on the new site.
Drawing Challenges – Although I don’t do as many of the drawing challenges as I used to, I do have my own Lunchtime Challenge, where I try to create something within the time limits of my lunch break, which is currently 45 minutes long.
My Sketchbook for the year – One of the beautiful things about my sketchbook is that at the end of the year, I will be able to see how far I have come with my creativity. I am very excited to share every page with you. At the end of the year, I plan on doing a flip-through of the entire sketchbook! All 300 pages!
Now there are going to be a lot more things that will be a part of this new site. Some of which will allow me to connect better to you. Some of the things that I want to integrate are:

Store – I would love to be able to offer my products to you directly. This will cut down on costs for both of us.
Monthly Newsletter – I get it, we don’t all have time to follow every detail of a specific website. This is why I want to get the monthly newsletter up and running. This newsletter will help keep you up to date with everything that is going on, to include promotional events.
Giveaways – I love free stuff, just like anyone else. So I thought it would be wonderful to create some giveaways for subscription milestones. More details will come later, but your chances of winning something get greater the more followers there are.
Last but not least, I want to thank you for being such a great follower. Things will only get better from here and I can’t wait to share this journey with you. Please don’t hesitate to contact me directly should you have any questions, comments, concerns or compliments.

Here’s to a beautiful new relationship!

  2. The name of your blog is really nice… ‘misstalkaholic’…
Yes, I agree with you. ‘Misstalkaholic blog is a mixture of all kind of thoughts, feelings where you can relate yourself, too’
I hope that mine will be similar with yours… ^^

  3. Hi Falak, it’s such a pleasure to have connected with you on FB and your blog. I look forward to exploring your writing here on your site. Have a good one! ~Steph

  4. Hey, I must say your blog name is alluding enough to make one visit. And that’s the beauty of blogging community to stumble upon something good. Thanks for liking my comment at community pool which compelled my visit :). Frankly speaking, this is one nicely poised blog-site. I am following now.

  5. Hey Falak, nice to make your acquaintance and thanks so much for stopping by and checking my blog out. I’m kinda awed at the integration of your brand across so many platforms. As a relatively new blogger, I’ve been so focused on my voice, I haven’t taken the rudimentary steps to build a brand.

On that note, I just had my first essay published by the Elephant Journal! If you have the bandwidth, Check it out. The title is: Compassion: The Game Changer (http://www.elephantjournal.com/2016/12/compassion-the-game-changer)

If you don’t have the bandwidth, no worries. I am eager to get to know you through your works.

  6. Hi Falak

Thanks for the follow! How have you been and how’s your blog doing?
I don’t know if you know that I moved my blog to a self-hosted platform. This has prevented me from connecting with WordPress bloggers like I used to. I would still like to remain in contact with your blog. Do you have an RSS feed I can subscribe to?
If you would still like to follow my blog, may I add you to my mailing list? I send out one email per day with all the blogs posted for the day including blogging tips. You can also unsubscribe at any time if you feel you want to stop receiving the emails. If you are happy for me to subscribe you, please send me your email address.
Also, I created a blogger tips group to connect with all my long last WordPress blogger friends, and to help all of us to learn from each other. I would love for you to share your knowledge in the group and connect with other bloggers. Here’s the link:

  8. K now I know who you are. Hi Falak so nice you have described yourself. Can I share my blog here if it is then my blog name is: boundlessblessingsblog.com Do let me know if I have done the right thing cause not very savvy.

  9. Hi
We have one thing in common… Our passion for ‘writing ‘. Blogging isn’t my cup of tea. I have written and published 3 books so far… Now I may publish a book for children.. I am currently looking for an agent..
I do not mean to discourage you..on the contrary, I have the feeling that you have all the potentials to write a book ..
    All the very best

    1. You know I have given it a thought several times.. Earlier I used to write so long but now my writings have become short. You must have noticed it already that I write short poems. It’s not that I am short of words. So, writing a book will give me a real challenge plus I think I am immature for writing one. I will surely write a book within next 5 years though.

    Gros bisous

    Bonne soirée TM

  19. Hello Falak, it’s so nice to meet you. I wanted to stop through to thank you for visiting my blog and liking one of my posts. I look forward to reading your posts!!😃 ~Steph

          1. No, not yet. But some of my friends did. Also, there many Indians here in Manila (is that what your call yourselves? pardon my ignorance). In the Philippines we commonly call them Bumbay, probably derived from Bombay. 🙂

          2. yes, that is true 🙂 i have a friend before who teaches yoga, and she invited me to one of the temples here in Manila to eat prasadam. I really like Indian food 🙂

  20. Your dropping in has been a pleasant surprise, Falak. Your name has a familiar ring because it is part of the Arabic greeting, ‘ke faalak’, meaning ‘how are you?’ So in the same vein, let me ask greet you with ‘Ke faalak, Falak?’ You have a nice site for me to catch up with. Best wishes…

    1. Hey.. Thank you for your wonderful comment. . I am glad you took time to read my about section and leave such interesting facts about whom I was unaware of.. I am great.. hope to see your lovely comments in future too.. be in touch

  21. Thank you for visiting JanetsWritingBlog.com! It has been a pleasure to find your blog. You have many more followers than I have on my blog. You inspire me to want to reach 100 followers, too!

  23. Hi Falak, Glad to come across your blog. Thanks for liking my post, ‘The Art of Giving’. Your blog looks appealing and hey I used to live in Delhi too. And coincidentally I am coming to Delhi this weekend. what a small world. 🙂

    1. Yes it is a small world indeed. Once I excused my friend for watching movie and guess what, we bumped into each other at the same hall.. Haha.. My point is this is how we bumped into those whom we never imagined about..Just like we did

      1. But tuje to bol bhi Nahi sakta,😂😂😂😂

But yes I can tell this to someone when I try to convince him saying, ‘Please Falak tak chal sath mere, fir chale jana’ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Oh my God! I’m really sorry. 😂😂😂😂😂
